When the government develops an experimental cyborg named Dragon as a secret military weapon, all hell breaks loose as a failure in the gene manipulation causes the creature to become a sex beast.
Fueled only by its insatiable lust for women and utter destruction, the creature escapes and starts abducting women to fill its sexual appetite. Anna, Layla, and Shion are special agents who form the Q Section. Anna is a skilled martial artist and marksman; she is also the leader of the group. Layla is an expert hacker while Shion is an explosives specialist. The Q Section takes on various missions, anywhere from solving crimes to terminating crooks. Aside from their special talents, the girls also have no qualms about killing or using their bodies in different ways. But the girls are suddenly assigned to their most dangerous job yet. The government is developing a secret military weapon -- a super cyborg named Dragon. A mistake in the gene manipulation, however, turns Dragon into a sex-starved beast who can think of nothing else but raping women. With Dragon on the loose, hordes of women get abducted and raped every day, and it's up to the Q section to stop this experiment gone awry...

Think of it this way -- Spy of Darkness is Charlie's Angels meets La Blue Girl. The good news is, the Q Section girls have more substance than the stupid hair-flipping-obsessed angels and they look better than La Blue Girl's girls.
Anna, Layla, and Shion have to pursue and stop the sex beast. It's not as simple as that though. The sex beast evolves as it gets more sex. The more ecstasy it feels, the more it loses control. It started out looking humanly enough, but as the story progresses, tentacles suddenly sprout from all over its body. I actually laughed when I saw tentacles rising from its head; it looked sort of silly instead of menacing. Tiny tentacles also form on its face, and even its tongue had numerous little tentacles. I think it's safe to say that Spy of Darkness overdoes the whole tentacles thing.
I have to give Spy of Darkness credit for having a solid plot though. The pacing is perfect to boot. I also have no complaints with regards to art and animation. The girls look pretty good and the characters' features are drawn in different styles.
The sexual content is very graphic. The introductory portions already show the girls "doing" their targets. Needless to say, these trysts are promptly followed by uncensored, show-all tentacle rape every few minutes thanks to one very horny sex beast. There are a lot of bloody and violent scenes, so this is not for the squeamish. The ending surprised me, as it's quite realistic. If you enjoyed ogling Charlie's Angels and watching the tentacles of La Blue Girl at work, you'll probably enjoy this as it is better than those two in several aspects.
